The project

When the product is bespoke, the website has to explain the process.

What was needed was not a list of chandeliers but proof of a skill: what the workshop is able to do, with which method and at what level of detail.

We built the website on two levels: first the positioning — light as a design material — then the production path in four stages, the collections, the furnishing complements and a direct channel for anyone arriving with a drawing, an idea or a specification to solve.

Who reads the website

Flovex clients are companies, design studios and contract operators looking for a manufacturing partner, not a catalogue to browse.

What it has to achieve

In bespoke lighting design the website has one precise job: to bring in the right enquiry. Anyone looking for a manufacturing partner wants to understand in two minutes whether that workshop can deliver their project, with which materials, in what time frame and with what level of control.
